A committee has been formed in the Madras Central Council to assist with the formation and training of conferences. The committee consists of three members from each of the Area Councils, as recommended by the National Council of India. Its main goal is to improve existing conferences and establish new ones by focusing on training and development.
The committee's first meeting was held on July 16, 2023, at the Pastoral Centre in Santhome, starting at 10:30 a.m. Brother Dr. Francis, the International Territorial Coordinator for Formation and Training and also the vice-president of the National Council of India, led the training session. His presence and guidance were highly valued by all participants.
Brother Dr. Francis initiated the training session, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for everyone involved. Approximately 30 members were carefully selected from various Area Councils to attend the session. Their diverse backgrounds and experiences contributed to an enriching learning environment.
The training session covered topics related to the committee's responsibilities and the rules of the Society. Brother Dr. Francis encouraged active participation and exchange of ideas among the participants through interactive discussions. The training session concluded on a positive note, with a sense of accomplishment and optimism for the committee's future projects.
